Wow...this one was really lame

And I just LOVE these movies...but the plot was all over the place and furthermore..I could not make heads or tails?

What happened to Molly?

And the initial ambush...this was not a stake-out..just checking out the nephew..so how is the revenge guy "just happened" to be there?

And What the hell was the revenge about? I completely missed the tie-in to teenage prostitution. What the hell did Healy have to do with that?

And the city council the size for a town of about 80,000, chastising the police chief because he is doing his job and happens to nail some sickos who come into town? Beyond plausible.

And enough with the ex-wife calling everytime she decides to make a romantic move..either have her show up in Paradise..or it is time to end it..its been like four years!

I look forward to these movies so much..the haunting melody..Tom Selleck's melancholy ways.. but this one was very very weak. It is true it is not based on an Jesse Stone novel? Maybe that's the problem.

I agree as well. I was confused half the time about the story lines and the execution left a lot to be desired.

Jesse was more morose than ever which was off putting.

I enjoyes 'Suit' and Devane's 'Hix', but otherwise, this was the weakest of the series. Worse than 'Sea Change'.

This one wasn't the best but is much better than most stuff on tv these days.

I was blown away by what had happened to the child they were seeking. That added to my difficulty with the episode, although I watched it through a second time and came to like it fairly well, i guess because I knew by then what to expect.

Everything was sort of implied in the episode as far as the Healy shooting was concerned. I wondered if Healy didn't know he was getting into something bad and if his nephew might have been a male prostitute. The saxophone might somehow have been a reference to that. But Healy obviously knew something ultimately at least because he told Jesse to drop it.

It is the weakest that I've seen so far. I don't know if it's just to get Jesse away from the Paradise setting. But I'm looking forward to the next one. Perhaps a change of setting will be good for him at this point.
