D'Angelo

I have seen the five movies and enjoyed them all. I just want to know why D'Angelo just disappeared and it was addressed in only one line of this film. Shouldn't we viewers have seen the confrontation that caused him to leave. I feel kind of cheated. Maybe Selleck didn't like Rezza in real life.

I'm sure they just decided he didn't add much to the show---just being the guy around the office, who felt he deserved Jesse's job. Personally, I like the tiny bits of interplay, surrounding D'Angelo. I think they shoulda expanded the character.

I think I remember Jesse taking a dislike to him in one of the episodes so it made sense to me. But I'd have to view everything again in sequence to tell you when.

Dangelo repeatedly reported to the town board about Jesse's doings.
He wouldnt accept the fact that Jesse got the job of chief.

Jesse did mention in the previous movie he didn't like the guy and was going to wear him down until he left. I guess that happened between movies. The guy was obnoxious anyway, forever calling Jesse "Skipper" when Jesse told him he hated it.
