Will this flop hard like other recent Woke movies?

The last "Thor" movie made twice as much as the first one, so the trends are against you.

As for the tiny little woman replacing Hemsworth, my understanding is that it's temporary. It was temporary in the comics, and it'll be even more temporary in a 2-hour movie. 1 hour tops, with Thor himself roaring back in the last act.

Partly because that's what Thor movie audiences will pay to see, and partly because Hemsworth is a good Marvel worker bee, and Portman is box-office poison. They won't replace Hemsworth.

Previous Thor movie was a massive hit and this will be made by the same director.

They are going full on woke with this thing, though, following the path of the comic book by declaring the male Thor unworthy and making the character female. If it does poorly, that really doesn't bode well for movies that are considered "woke".

A Marvel movie flop hard? LOL I really doubt it. The worst MCU movie was probably Iron Man 2 and even that was mediocre and still made plenty.

I don't give a crap if it's woke or sound asleep. I just pray that this moronic age of comic book movies will soon end. So f'ing sick of this kind of dreck.

I will not pay for woke movies.

I will watch pirate versions if I want to watch it.

Taika Waititi has a pretty good track record. He's no dummy.

Wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't go full on with the wokeness. We could still have some heroic, likeable male characters, attractive females, maybe even a little hetero romance.
