There are rumors an alternate reality version of Loki is gonna show up (presumably the one who will be getting his own series on Disney +).

Perhaps a semi-reformed Loki (or Lokis), following redemption the Disney+ streaming series, will get his own movie or movie series. Marvel is already scraping the dregs of the MCU for characters that can support a tent-pole movie. Hiddleston’s Loki has more drawing power than most.

I feel like that character had sort of come full circle and the whole is he good or bad...has been done enough. It's best that his character died...and stays dead.

It's true that he didn't have much impact in "Ragnarok", compared to previous appearances. Perhaps it's because Thor grew into his role as the new king of Asgard, and his relationship with Loki was different, and less central in his life.

That said, I hope to FUCK that they find a way to bring Loki back! Personally, I think he hid when Thanos showed up, and used his illusion power to make some sap with a knife look like him. I mean that's plausible, right? Loki wouldn't even try to attack a supervillain with nothing but a pocket knife, would he? No, only an idiot would do that, and Loki isn't an idiot!

Yes Thor has developed a lot and he is a much better character than he was at the start but none of that has any bearing on Loki’s character, he’s always been interesting and one of Marvel’s top 10 most well liked characters of all time according to Ranker and Marvel Studios.

Not possible. He'll get shoe-horned in somewhere. At the very least for a quick fan service cameo. Especially since they have a tv series to cross promote.
