Disturbing
This was a disturbing movie - I think you'll either love it or hate it - but not a lot in between.

shareI had to turn it off halfway. It was too stupid. Oh lets just throw the keys right in front of the rapist/murderer we just captured and leave him alone while we check the fuse box. NO. Just no.
shareHe didn't get out because the keys were a few feet away on the desk - he was shackled to a slab in the floor. He couldn't reach the keys. Another person came and let him out - which you'd know it you'd finished the film. Personally, I found the movie a little too intense - especially the ending - but I thought it was actually smarter than most. But that's the great thing about film - one man's Titanic - is another man's...well, Titanic.
shareSounds to me like throwing the keys on the floor was still a bad idea, if it meant someone else could let him out. How about keeping the keys?
shareif you see the whole movie... then you would get it.
shareThank you! How can you judge a movie you haven't even bothered to finish!?
This movie was excellent and disturbing all at the same time. Everyone from the writing team to the actors and crew did an amazing job I think. I am so proud to be the estatic new owner of an autographed script from this film and can't wait to see how much if any it changed from paper to screen. Laura Pratt is a sweetheart and I really hope to see her go on to do many more amazing films.
Reading her IMDB profile,

looks like Pratt's Hollywood dream was coming along nicely until this POS movie killed her career. In the 5 years since it came out she's had one gig, supervising a script and hasn't written nor produced a thing since.
Your opinion is in the minority. This movie falls into the rare category of too bad to be entertaining and not bad (in the right way) to be a "bad movie classic". It is just poorly made, poorly written and acted, boring and forgettable other than a tacked on "shock" ending that is nothing more nor less than offensive and puerile.
There is a surprisingly large fanbase for Norman Reedus's character Mac in Red Canyon and I was wondering if you would consider scanning the script so that other fans may also see what didn't make it to the screen?
