...and survive being carried away in a fairly rapid current only to be picked by some inbreds to be tortured and raped? At least that's the idea I got from the end of this film. I'm sorry, but whatever minor cinematic skill was present in this movie was completely decimated by that scene.

it was implied that they used womans to biring their childrens into life. her sister was raped and murdered aftera a child was born, and it was clear that they were planing to do the same to her.
