the guy who burned the girl in the end? we saw other people got suicide but this guy was off the screen. or did i miss it?

Yes, some of the death scenes didn't make the cut. A few were for time/plot reasons, and one I know of was they couldn't get a kid to look "dead" long enough to get the shot.
shareI liked that guy (Roy). I thought it would be a neat turn if he survived or actually ended the curse. I think this movie was too long and drawn out for the material, but I was entertained. I'd watch a sequel.

He probably commited suicide too,they just didn't show it.I didn't like Roy,he was stupid....the first time they were all riding in the truck he asks his girlfriend if she likes him for his BIG FAT heart(sure he wasn't talking bout his heart!)then turns around and asks the daughter the same thing EWWW! and if you noticed the daughter(forgot her name)pulls her skirt farther over her knees,as if uncomfortable with him saying that and like he may have tried something with her before...thats my take on it.

I was under the impression that roy wasnt her father, that he was just her step moms boyfriend and that her real parents were dead, but maybe i got that wrong.

Lindsay's father died a while ago, she knew Dylan because he comforted her after the death.
I think you can assume (if there's no sequel) that everyone (including Roy) in the town dies. I personally thought Roy might have caught alight when he torched Sadie, as she had sprayed him with lighter fluid earlier.
Great film though.
I was wondering if the anonymos dead body by the swingset was in fact Roy.
It's been established that he's sexually creepy with kids, and so him dying near a kids swingset sounded kind of poetic.

The reason why Adam Goldberg's character Roy didn't die is because he was Jewish. ;-) (only Christians and Witchcraft folks died)
lucy- yeah that's how it was, but still it is really disgusting for him to enjoy the mom and the daughter in the same way. And she is underage, so he is a horrible person in that sense as well.
I wish they let us see Roy dead, it would have sealed the movie with a kiss.

This was an ok movie, but it was really stupid not showing if/how Roy died after what he did to Sadie. Isn't that a big thing to leave out or not show?! I saw it on SyFy but it doesn't sound like it was shown on the dvd.

I just finished watching this, and I'm pretty sure the guy in the bathtub was the other henchman, not Roy, but the father of the girl who died in the car wreck.
shareNo. The guy in the bathtub was the guy with a (full-ish) grey-blonde beard and similar hair. He was in a few scenes but I don't recall his character's name. Maybe he was Claire's father like another poster in this thread mentioned.
