IMDB was my favorite place to discuss movie rumors, and this board was the first place that came to mind when I heard they were shutting down.
So many memories of talking and hyping up this movie in 2007...it truly is sad that this has all come to an end.
I'm not sure if anyone from back in those days ever even visits this board anymore, but if you're out there, thank you for contributing to what was quite the exciting ride.

This was definitely a financial decision. IMDB is just saying it's the trolls to shift blame away from them. Would any major company really let outsiders win? Still sucks regardless.

I've already said my goodbyes on other movies. Also left several messages for iMDB, Hoping they will change their mind about totally closing the board's !! Add filters, Verify people, Charge $2-$4 a month ??? Anything to keep these boards up !! We love them and DON'T WANT TO LOOSE THEM !!! Alot of us don't use Twigger or Spacebook or ?? (Yes I'm trying to add humor to this sad thing). But seriously, If it's really about the money, I'm game for paying $2-$4 a month to keep these boards up !!!! There are ALOT of people that use this site DAILY like myself. And they would pay (don't get stupid on the price) . I've been a member since the app first started !! Wish it would stay up !!!. How can we start a petition to keep it up ???
shareIt's not "loose" (i.e, disorganized, not bound together well) but "lose, " like someone being a Loser, or, I hope I don't Lose my keys. This drives me crazy, like second-grade spelling. If you can't find something, you Lose it, you don't Loose it.

When Bezos bought IMDB is when it changed, You had to start paying to do what we done for free --- Don't know if the New IMDB has discussions, I don't pay for that,
I still use IMDB ---- Still a great place if you have a question about a movie That the trivia section might answer, and still find all kinds of stuff about Actors, Actress s, Directors --- etc. etc.etc.
