... Christian's daughter death.

1) The filmamakers are innocent
Every 'witness' has said she looked for the porn filmmakers to be in the film. Also, they said she voluntarily did drugs. Finn even said he's in the business for 20 years, he wouldn't inject heroin on his porn actress and rape them, which makes sense.

2) the porn filmmakers are guilt
On the other hand, we have seen what Derek did to Alice at the end of the film. He raped her and he was about to choke/suffocate her. So the others could be co-authors/acessories on the crime scene.

3) Only Derek was was guilt.
One of the witness (the only actor who survived) has said "Derek took your daughter to a private room for a long time". Maybe Derek was the only one with bad intentions.

What do you think?

Everyone involved in the making of the porn film were guilty. Alice was clearly a drug addict and was desperate enough for money that she would do anything and they all took advantage of her at her lowest point. She was also high on drugs when the shoot commenced and therefore was not in a good enough condition or able to think properly to be able to consent to what was taking place. It was also heavily hinted that Derek drugged Alice and may have raped her when she had second thoughts about the shoot. The rest of the men involved in the shoot carried on making the film despite having strong suspicions about what Derek had done and did not care what had just happened.

I think it was just tragic all around. Those pornographers were bad dudes, however, not for making the porno or even giving the girl heroin (she probably did ask for it, as Derek said, since her father found a pot pipe on her, and she
was mixing in that crowd. It's hard also to just force an injection of heroin into someone.). The pornographers were bad because they proved themselves at the end to be violent and murderous thugs with the cops on their payroll, and who are happy to make snuff films in a warehouse.

As for guilt, I think the girl and the pornographers were equally guilty of her death. Heroin overdoses happen, and most of the time the cops don't consider it murder. But because it was Fortenski's daughter, and he could not view her as anything but an innocent little girl, he assumed she was forced against her will, when she probably wasn't, as everyone said. She died of suffocation from choking on her own vomit due to a heroin overdose. Fortenski refused to accept the death of his daughter, esp. in such a tawdry way, and since there was semen found inside her, he felt the men were responsible for her death. But Fortenski was jumping to conclusions, as each victim pointed out that the worst that happened was that Derek took her into a room and seduced her with some heroin. That is not murder. She OD'd.

But in the end, to show that Fortenski was right in his murderous revenge, the film turned the pornographers into real thuggish snuff film crew, happy to kill women and torture people. I felt that was an easier route to take than perhaps showing that Fortenski was simply wrong to kill mere pornographers, and the fact he could not accept the reality that his daughter left him and liked drugs and did pornos for money. That would have been a more brave ending, IMO.

By the time Christian exposed these guys as real evil S.O.Bs I could careless rather he was justifed in killing these turds because by than I had sat through an 1:20 Minutes of him torturing and killing "mere pornographers" who had the misfortune of hiring a strung out junkie... It is a rare movie that makes me root for the villians, the other one is Hard Candy.

Christian and Derek are the only criminals. This film has a truly bizarre stance on porn and drugs, looks like it was made on a right wing Christian ethics morality code.

(1) in my opinion.

Re (2), that doesn't at all imply that anything similar happened with Christian's daughter. And we can assume that she wasn't a victim of foul play (beating, suffocation, etc.) because the autopsy would have shown signs of that.
