More films like this ?

I thought this film was brilliant ! I love these revenge/vigilante films. Theres nothing more satisfying than a person dishing out justice on evil people. Can anyone recommend more like this ?
Ive seen Taken, Hardcore, the Death wish films and most of the well known ones but are there more unknown gems out there ?
Can anyone recommend some ?
Thanks good people.

Deffs Oldboy (2003) but if you cant watch foreign, an American version is coming out. I would recommend the original though, the new one is not only unecessary but something about it just doesnt look right.

Second all of these and would add a few more great foreign thriller/action films:

The Man From Nowhere (2010).
Ichi the Killer (2001)
Headhunters (2011)
The Raid : Redemption (2011)
New World (2013)
The Chaser (2008)
Battle Royale (2000)
Wyrmwood : Road of the Dead (2014)
Cell 211 (2009)
The Loved Ones (2009)
Dead Snow 2 (2014)

Mots of these are subtitled in English but it's totally worth it.

Recently just saw that. Unbelievable film, I gave it a 10. Out of the 1200 or so I've scored on IMDB about 30 have gotten a 10.

Death Sentence (2007)

Dead Man's Shoes (2004) - stars Paddy Considine.

Stars Val Kilmer or if you want 80's style then Malone starring Burt Reynolds but that is more action/thriller.
Man on Fire was good recommendation which stars Denzel Washington but there is an older version starring Scott Glenn which is more dated and a little low key but having read the original book written by A.J. Quinnell who wrote 5 novels with the character Greasey which gives more depth and background to the movies.

Another one: the Death Wish series
