They have high-def masters of all these films?

Why don't they release them?! I'm thinking specifically of Snow White, Star Wars, Star Trek II, and pretty much every Pixar film (we already know they have an HD master of the Incredibles, seeing as how it's on every thanksgiving in HD.) Toy Story's bright colors looked beautiful on blu-ray.

Agreed. They need to release every Pixar movie ASAP on Blu-ray as well as the Star Wars saga!!

You guys don't get marketing, do you?

The first rule of show-biz is "Make them laugh, make them cry, but... make them wait."

They're releasing catalog titles on Blu-Ray over time... just like they did with DVD. It took Star Wars 7 years to hit DVD.

The Toy Story movies will probably be on Blu next year to coincide with Toy Story 3's release. A Bug's Life is already out. Monsters Inc. is coming in November.
Finding Nemo and The Incredibles are fan favourites, so they'll drag those ones out as long as they can. We probably won't get them until 2011.

And the Star Trek's were just released as well.

Snow White is coming in the fall.

Yeah, I'd bet money that PIXAR is planning a trilogy Blu-Ray set next fall, since Toy Story 3 will be out this coming June.
