Ok, so Kristin said that she was poor, and on a scholarship and all to the school. So where in the world did she gets those clothes!? She said her parents were poor and they lived in an apartment, so where did they have the money for the clothes?

I think she probably saves money to buy the nice clothes, shops at places like TJ Maxx and pretends that she's wearing nice clothes, or she lets the other girls buy her clothes for her.

In the book she would sew on lacoste logos on her shirt and she got lots of hand me downs from massie

yea in the books she would find ripped or worn out brand name clothes for cheap at places like Salvation Army or something and just sew the tag onto brand new cheaper clothes.

in what book(s) did it say she sewed labels on?
i read the entire series and dont remember this.
