Is this Brian Hyland I, the Pop Rock singer?. That Brian is from Brooklyn and was born in 1943. He would have been about 15 when The Dodgers left. The producer mentioned on IMDB for the documentary, Brian Hyland II. He has no Bio information or birth date listed. IMDB also lists a documentary about a NYC fight manager, "On Freddie Roach". A quote from that source says, "Hyland continues to tour internationally with his son Bodi, who assists on drums from time to time."
My guess is that the producer of the HBO documentary is a different Brian Hyland. IMDb doesn't do a good job of verifying information sent to them by users. Now there is only one Brian Hyland listed at IMDb.
