It's very stupid and with the quick jump-cuts even completely unwatchable... I guess the younger generation should feel like they've accomplished something, after viewing and the older should stay baffled enough so they'll get the impression how they had watched something "smart" after it's over.
Ridiculous. When I was younger, I wanted to get through the story - even when they did make it like this - these days, though, I really couldn't give 2 chits about it. As soon as the pew, pew starts and flashing images exchange rapidly on screen - it goes straight to the Trash (on the computer, yeah).
Made the mistake of going to the movies, after ~10 years, to see Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) and that's not going to happen again. Since I mentioned it, another movie with Simon Pegg Star, Trek Beyond (2016), just came out and it's more pukey than ever...
