I saw this movie when it came out first. When me and my friend just watched Fury. We both agreed he was great in it. The only film I could think he was also good in was lawless but my friend reminded me of this and I remembered him looking older in this so it's weird this was only a year after transformers. Plus I really thought he did great in this one.

I don't hate the guy, even if I don't like him either, but I agree, he was pretty good in this movie. Didn't detract from it, certainly.

shareHonestly, I liked all the performances that LaBeouf gave around this time, including Transformers. This movie, Transformers, Disturbia, all solid work by him.
shareI've been familiar with him since his Even Stevens days, so I can't say I have ever disliked the guy. He's always been more than a competent actor in my book, and his performance here is one of his best - at least in a thriller.
