Where is it filmed??

I go to Cornwall alot but i dont regonise the places. anyone got any ideas??

The beach is Watergate Bay on the north coast, near Newquay.
I've also read that some of it (I assume the bits where it shows the town) is filmed in Looe, on the south coast.
The town and harbour area must be Looe or somewhere else as they aren't near Watergate Bay. All that is there is the beach, Watergate Bay Hotel, Extreme Academy (surf school and other watersports), Beach Hut, and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen. There are also a couple of appartments and a B+B.

I've been to Watergate every summer for the last 10 years or so, which is why I was so interested in watching it. I'm hooked on it already!

What I want to know is WHEN it was filmed-it rained all Summer! Why is it so sunny all the time in Echo Beachland?!

i can answer that as an extra on the beach scene!
they shot between rain spells. and it was sooo cold. i think the sunshiney skies might be slightly edited. it was awful all four days of the shoot! :)

I was an extra on Echo Beach last year. All scenes in the cafe are filmed in a studio in just outside London. I hope that was helpful.
