Will this be as bad as ERAGONT?? Hope you took some acting lessons kid.

How bad could Eragon be??
Watch this movie and you will find out. This is it!!!
Writing, acting, CG, and directing amiss. A complete failure. Only Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich are exempt as they performed well.

It starts boringly cliche and ends drastically empty. The most annoying is the Eragont twerp. Secondly is the dragons whisper-talk voice. The dragon looks okay but that voice makes you wish you could reach through the screen and strangle the stupid thing. 5 minutes into the movie you begin hoping the bad guys win and soon. The wizard is annoying too.

You might like this IF .. .. ..
If you are into eating for dinner Potted Meat Food Product from the can instead of a nice juicy steak.
If you are below the age of 13
If you are so desperate that eHarmony is your ticket to an evening out then maybe you too are naive enough to like this one.

Otherwise you might consider cleaning the house or tuning the engine on your neighbors lawn mower.

Why would Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich WASTE their time? Maybe they need the cash. Everyone else in this movie should start working the local Taco Bell. The worst is the kid actor - Eragont himself. He should go back to playing video games.

Quite pathetic.

I hope the ACTING in this movie is better. Otherwise you stupid producers are just throwing your money away.

To start with, tell me what qualifies you to make a reasoned judgement on acting. Have you ever done it? What productions (if any) have you been in? If none, don't tell me you know what you're talking about. Acting is INCREDIBLY hard and A LOT of hard work. I know, I act.

Secondly, I don't like steak.

Thirdly, this is a TV series and NOT a movie.

Yes it is alot of hard work so he better get busy. Anymore major flops like Eragont and the pressure will crush him. Then he will flop away like all the others. So get to work kid.

By the way Naeth, I know you like talking about me and you but that is not the topic here. His improvement is the topic. However, since you asked, I will only say that I am a valid resource. Especially valid in the sense that I am a percentage of the audience that has observed that this kid needs to improve. Who do you act for if there is no audience? Vanity is the worst.

Money is the most common answer to that.

Their are also different opinions on good and bad acting.

Myself, I wouldn't say he's brilliant, but I wouldn't say he's bad either.

How is a new actor to get the experience being a brilliant actor takes when no one gives him the chance in the first place? You need the expeirence in order to improve.

I think he will improve after he has hopfully come that eragon was a bad movie and part of the reason was his acting so he will then realise what he did wrong. He may have also just not have been suited to fantasy films because he may not have had an interest in fantasy films, books etc.

So the only people able to give a judgement on actors are other actors? In essence, you are saying that actors only make viewing material for other actors. That would explain a lot.

you dont need to be an actor to know if someone can act or not if that is what you are implying! look at simon cowell he says he cant sing yet he listens to people on pop idol and make judgements and rubbishes people who i thought were good.. lol..

as for his acting, i think if they make him take off more of his clothes then viewers can ignore the acting part.. ;)

i thought Eragon was extremely good and considering it was Ed Speleers first professional acting role he did a fantastic job. but that's just my opinion lol

I agree 100%. I don't know that the others are talking about. Ed did an amazing job, and it sounds to me like there are a lot of jealous people out there who's only hobby is bashing other people who actually have talent.

I agree 100%. These are just pathetic people with no talent. They are jealous of the fact that Ed has accomplished more at age 20 than they ever will. As for me I wish him the best and hope that his career continues to grow. I look forward to seeing what great work lies ahead in his future. Keep up the great work Ed.

I have soon seen Eragon.

But having seen him in Echo Beach I was not that impressed by his acting. It looked like he was constipated every time he had to convey emotion.

Once the pretty boy blonde look passes he will have problems - just ask past actors from Hollyoaks.
