Since nobody bought this movie at Sundance, will it be coming to straight-to-DVD soon?

Someone would have to buy it even for it to go straight-to-DVD.

It may take years and years and sometimes those indie movies just die quiet deaths. With the poor rating so far (3.8) this one doesn't seen to appeal to anybody. Too bad - would have liked to be able to form my own opinion but right now it seems like that's not going to happen. Amazing with Giamatti and Crudup on board.

If a crappy indie movie starring Sarah Michelle Gellar can finally get a release on DVD, this has to.

With Giamatti and Crudup in the cast, it's sure to get released somehow. The response seemed to be extremely mixed...from "worst film of the festival" to "one of the best." I wouldn't go off that score since a) I've seen some movies get low ratings after playing at only a couple of festivals and b) only 86 people have voted.

"Hounddog," for instance, was universally panned at Sundance 2007, and will be getting a limited theatrical release in July. This one wasn't universally panned, but it doesn't have Dakota Fanning in it either, so it evens out. That means...July of 2009.

Director Paul Schneider is an amazing actor and very clever man. Watch his space !!!

I have been looking for this movie for months. Thanks for the information. I sure will keep looking. I can't imagine that anything with Billy Crudup would be a complete loss. He's a quality actor.

Just announced - Paramount will be releasing this on DVD on 6/29.
