Boring...

I was expecting it to be a brilliant fun filled film, but I barely got those. Sure there were a few good parts, but the movie as awhole grew to be quite boring lacking something. I can't put my finger on it. It had potential. Pattinson's performance was pretty good though. I'm just stating my opinion.

I do know what you mean, in a way I think the improv seemed to stifle the flow of certain scenes and I found that a lot of the dialogue was mumbled and I had to rewind to hear what was said. It did lack something but then that might have been the point as the main character is a passive depressive then it would make sense for the story to seem slightly lethargic and dull. I enjoyed it but it's not a film I'll be able to watch over and over despite having Rob Pattinson in it as it only evokes feelings of not belonging and bewilderment.

But I did like the script and thought some of the lines were very funny especially when Art says about his bed: "That's exactly where my bed was as well except it was over there."

Air in the hands Motherstickers this is a *beep* up!

I agree; Boring, boring, boring.
Tried to stand to the end, but gave up after 50 minutes. Gave it a 4...

Yeah I thought I would be the only one. I honestly think some who adore this film are only saying it because of Rob. Had Rob's character been portrayed by a different actor, I doubt some of the fangirls would be over it.

Well, that's definitely not true for me. I found his friends more hilarious and engaging than he was, not that it was Rob's acting that was bad, but just because of his character and how it was written.
