It sounds perfectly South African to me, but I'm not South African so I'd love to hear from a South African how accurate you thought it was.
shareIt's hard to say really. He did a good enough job but since he's famous you know his voice, so it still sounds like him, doing an accent.
shareI saw an interview with him about this film. He said he spent six months working with a dialog coach to get his accent to a believable level. It didn't appear noticeably different from any of the other team members and was certainly believable.
