Afraid of heights????

The previews of the new episode are saying that Danny Forster is "Deathly afraid of heights." If he is so afraid of heights, why wasn't he showing it when he was in the manlift building the roller coaster? I, myself, am deathly afraid of heights, and I was cringing everytime they showed the ground from the manlifts. I even got the "creepy-crawlys" when they showed the guys going over the side of the manlift onto the rollercoaster. Danny never even showed the slightest hint of being afraid of heights. Think it might be a ploy to get some more viewers???

BTW, I've been to the Sears Tower, and I was just fine, as long as no one was near me while I was near the windows. As long as I am not close to the edge, and whatever I'm on/in up high isn't moving/swaying, I'm fine. Heck, I even LOVE flying!!! But get me near a high ledge, and I get scared!!!!

On the Spanish Skyscraper episode that aired last night, Danny didn't seen too afraid of height then, either.

He's probly like jgrace and myself, on something thats not soundly grounded its fine but get something like a manlift or edge its a different story. all about perception

He was freaking out on the manlift.

But like me, its not that its high. Its that its unstable.

I think it showed prominently when he was in Shanghai's World Financial Center at the top of the skyscraper. I think he was all the way at the top operating the crane and was even starting to make me nervous up there in his classic pseudo-whiny, yet funny, DF way.

Build It Bigger is such a good show... So is Extreme Engineering.

We just saw one one the tunnel they're building under the Bospherous Straits and he's whining about his fear of being under water, and virtually everything else. The guy's a jerk and a big whiner, and if he thinks this is building suspense or making the show better, he's sadly mistaken. As others have said, he's completely wrecking this show.
