Get a new host Discovery.

This show has great potential in the material that it covers but to be honest the host really stinks it up. At least in the first episode there was more of Danny's girly screaming then actual educational information. I've ridden all the coasters he rode in Tampa and honestly, Danny, they aren't that bad or "scary." Get Mike Rowe or Adam and Jamie to host this show. In fact, those 3 guys could single-handily host every show on Discovery and it would be even better than it is now.

I went to this forum in hopes of seeing a comment like this... He certainly does suck. I'm watching the episode with him in the tank and I hate his screaming like a little pansy.

My sentiments exactly. The show could be good (not great, they've done the 'big things' concept to death) with a host that didn't screech like a school girl.

I kinda like him. He's scared of his job and it's cute in a little-kid sort of way.

I like him as a host as well. He's a smart guy who's willing to do almost anything in the name of science. If he's afraid, so what. I'm afraid of heights as well, and I give him credit for getting on that roller coaster.

Plus too, he has a great personality. His narrations are enjoyable. Has anyone seen the new Extreme Engineering episodes. Sounds like Ben Steins younger brother.

After watching a couple episodes, I stand by what I said before. This guy is adorable. I just want to hug him.

He is kinda wimpy compared to Discovery channel hosts. But ah well. They cancelled the show anyways (They never air it anymore and they deleted the website for it).

this show is fantastic and so is the host. I would dare anybody else to do the *beep* he does and try to make it fun.
