I'm canceling Showtime (No more Big Brother: After Dark)

The main reason I pay for Showtime is to watch Dexter and 3 hours of Big Brother: After Dark. Working on my computer can get boring and Big Brother: After Dark kept me company. I don't want to pay for feeds to watch on my computer screen. I need that space for working.

I'm not going to watch non-HD low-quality crap on some TV guide channel with stuff constantly scrolling at the bottom of the screen. And on top of that, it will be sanitized and only 2 hours. No thanks. Since I won't be getting the behind-the-scenes stuff to see what is really going on, I'm not going to watch the actual Big Brother show on CBS either.

After this last season of Dexter is over, I'm cancelling Showtime.

CBS = Viacom
Showtime = Viacom
TVGN = 50% owned by Viacom

Make sense now? Someone high up in the company decided to throw something over to TVGN, Viacom's newest acquisition.

Also, TVGN is available in HD on many cable systems (but not all). They have been and will continue to censor nudity and language, which is more than Showtime did but will be much more lax than prime time TV.

As long as you watch anything owned by Viacom, they still win.

All Art is pretense.

OP- the way you described tvgn is the old format. It hasn't had grid listings in years. It's a normal channel now.

In any case, I never had show time so it's a good thing for me to watch it on tvgn. Unlike the OP I dont watch it for nudity and bad language. It's certainly a plus but not vital. I watch it to get an unedited view of the houseguests and to see all the crap talk I can't see on tv.
