Agree about Uma Thurman she has made some lucrative flops that haven't stretched her as an actress. Acting opposite Paddy Consandine and Jonathan Pryce in an intense stagey production must be quite a challenge compared to Kung Fuing with David Carradine and camping it up with Arnie as Mr Freeze but she held her own and equipped herself with flying colours.

Uma Thurman does not belong to the school of hits and flops...yes she has had some bad choices..which actor hasnt? She is more of an experimental character actor who happens to be a Hollywood Star. Most of her films are R RATED..they arent what you would call Box Office friendly films. As for the Kung Film, that is the most difficult role she has every played simply because she doesnt belong to the culture that the film pays homage to. The demands of that particular film far outweigh the demands of MZB..Mind it, I loved MZB..I thought it was intense, but flawed and she was brilliant in it.
