I now feel the same way about Michael Pare. If he's even in a movie, I usually end up skipping it. Watching him is like hearing nails grated across a chalkboard.

The gene pool could use a little chlorine......

Re: Michael Paré: Have you seen "The Philadelphia Experiment" (1984)?
I realize that's quite a slice of time between good movies, but I've found that one to be very good overall — and one of his best.
I also thought "Moon 44" (1990) was very watchable.

Perhaps it's his choice of production companies for his later movies.
I've found most of the offerings of "The Asylum" to be on a level anywhere from

I admire the writer's ability to get paid for that.

Having seen their idea of "War of the Worlds" and its [shudder] sequel, I have no real interest in seeing how they butcher "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". Do they really think they can improve on Jules Verne and H G Wells?
