I also gotta ask, WTF Is up with VH1 showing new shows in the morning? I remember checking what is on TV, and i see "Americas most Smartest Model' So im like, wow another repeat, only to click on VH1 and see Cart Racing. Why do they even call it a new episode if they show it 9 hours before hand. Anyone got any clue why the hell VH1 does this!?

reply

Yeah! Poor Rachel.
From that top 3, the best winner would've been Angela. VJ isn't smart, he's just sneaky and Andre isn't smarter than Angela.
VJ ftl!!!!

He looks SO GOOD in those ads!! He was by far my fave and I'm glad he's working!

reply

Mine too. He is such a sweetie.

Brett was definitely the best looking model out of all the men and women on the show.

Oh well, obviously the show wasn't about just the looks.

Brett in the final three would have been boring. He's too much of a plastic male "model." The difference between him and Andre or him and VJ is that both Andre and VJ have this sort of raw, abrasive, street edge that you wouldn't expect from a model...and makes for more interesting TV. Andre and VJ look like they're a word or two away from a fist fight. Brett doesn't bring that kind of personality and would make the finale boring.

I agree Andre is way above and beyond the other show contestants in actual modeling ability and experience.

After Andre, there is a big gap, then comes, in no particular order, Brett, Angela, Daniel, Lisa, Pickel and Aussie Rachel. Each of these folks have their strengths and weaknesses, but they obviously have the competence to be a model. If they stick to their strongest skills, they should do pretty well.

I think VJ makes more of an impression in person because most of his pictures don't really have any pop. Since he's such a newbie to modeling, seems like he's aping what he thinks a model should be rather than be a model. VJ does have a lot of heart and he's aggressively ambitious, but that doesn't make him a model. Or at least any kind of top model.
