Watched it again and not as bad as 5,9 rating.

I enjoyed the movie a little better the second time around. It was humorous and that was the best part of the movie.

As always, my biggest complaint is the action fight scenes. The CGI was poor and you could not distinguish between who were the Autobots and who were the Decepticons. THAT was a problem. A shame.

You're right! It should be 4.0 or less. It wasn't bad; it was much worse!

reply

Yeah, I gave it a well-deserved 1.

A 1? Ur funny, , not very bright, but funny, , a 1

I gave it a awesome 2. But 1...it's ok too!

Glad to hear it's grown on you a bit! It's especially nice to hear some appreciation for the humor online, I definitely agree that it was one of this movie's highlights...people complain about it here a lot but webgeeks are just a fraction of the audience. I saw this movie in numerous sold-out theaters and every single time people were practically howling with laughter and rolling in the aisles for the jokes. It really WAS some pretty hilarious stuff, people online just seem to have sticks up their @$$es about it, sadly.

I don't really get the comment about the "poor" CGI, though. Sorry, but it was pretty top-of-the-line if you ask me. But then I never really had any trouble with the choreography or distinguishing Autobots from Decepticons either.

The only real problem I had with this movie was the plot device that extended it by about half an hour or so, that Sam had a shard of the cube, and it revived the old Autobot in the Stealth Fighter mode. Now that shard could have been used to revive the then-dead Optimus Prime, but for some reason the writers decided Sam needed to revive this old Autobot in order to tell him about something else that Sam has to search for (The Matrix of Leadership I think?) that may or may not have revived Optimus, all so they could put him in the middle of the firefight at the end of the movie as they were transporting Optimus's body or something, and have that bring Optimus back to life so he could fight the fallen. It just seemed to be an unnecessarily roundabout way of bringing the story elements together.

I couldn't stand the shaky cam. The "battle" at the college was my limit - OFF.
Waste of time.

You're right, it's worse! FAR worse

I wish a "0" was an option, only movie I've ever seen that should get that low a grade.

Clearly you've never seen Prometheus

I just recently watched it again as well. I really liked the movie, I don't get how people say it's the worst movie of all time. I thought that fight with Megatron and Optimus in the forest early in the movie was pretty good.

This was the worst movie i've ever seen. Though because it was so bad, i never saw the next one, which I've been told is even worse, which kind of blows my mind.

I truly think 6 is to high, because 6 is somewhat "watchable", but this movie is PAIN to watch, so I think it deserves not more than 4
