Finally! Someone who hates AOE just like I do!
shareI just re-watched Fallen for the first time and it's a bit better then I remember it, but still the worst of the series.
There has been a major step forward in the effects for Extinction and the action is shot much better with less shaky cam. The cast/characters in Fallen outside of Turturro are atrocious and the new film provides an improvement.

Seriously?! The dinosaurs in Jurassic Park looked more realistic 20 years ago than they did in AOE, and the new 'transformation' shows the animators aren't even trying anymore. Even the good transformations were partially obstructed. The effects took a major step backward. share

Revenge of the Fallen

Age of Extinction.
No toilet humour, no military porn, more focus on the Autobots, better human characters, better execution of China than Egypt for a climax, and even social commentary on technology and industry. Plus the fourth one gives us an exciting highway battle.
Revenge of the Fallen does give us all those fan favourite Decepticons though.
As much hate as AoE gets, it's the lesser of the two evils. ROTF just rambles and rambles...that desert battle just never ended!
