'Transformers Animated: The Complete Series'

If you’re looking for a series to keep your kids occupied and entertained, this show will do the job. But if they are teenagers or older, well, they may have outgrown this edition of the "Transformers." But for the hardcore fans, it’s at least worth giving a shot. Hearing Lance Henriksen as the voice of a bounty-hunting Transformer, Lockdown was pretty cool and is a character that a fan of any age can appreciate.

Giving the same rating to the awfulness that is Energon and the brilliance that is Animated... no, there is no accounting for that. It should be considered a crime. Energon, as in one of the absolute worst animated aberrations ever to bear the brand name, one so bad fans don't know whether to laugh or cry at its sheer incompetence, one so bad that its badness cannot be summarized by mere human words, so bad that just thinking about it is almost enough to make one want to go back in time and keep the franchise from ever being created... no.

No!

Why did I click the link? Now I won't be able to sleep, knowing that somewhere out there, there exist people who have such an opinion...

...

But anyway, yeah, do not entirely agree with those reviews.

I wish you'd tell us how you really feel about "Energon." :)

Seriously though, appreciate the feedback.

But now that my comically overblown "mad fanboy" reaction is out of the way, I can say that it's nice to see some of these older shows receiving attention. Wish they'd be made available in Region 2 DVD format.

What is IMDb for, if not for "comically overblown mad fanboy" rants?

I actually didn't even personally write either of the "Transformers" reviews, it was one of my colleagues. (So it's no skin off my back.)

But it's *always* good to get feedback, especially when it's from someone who clearly cares. Thanks again.
