Amy 'The Baby Whisperer'

I have a question. Don't know if anyone else noticed this, but when they call Amy over after the Social Worker leaves to calm down Sophie & get her to sleep, she walks in the door & Messer says something like..."uhhh sorry about your Dad, he's a pretty scary dude huh". What does he mean by that? Did I miss something? Was there a deleted scene or does this make sense to anyone else?

I assumed it was very late, middle of the night, and her dad didn't appreciate the phone call.

I wish I had had an Amy for my kids.

My brother is a baby whisperer! He could always get my daughter to settle and fall asleep when even I couldn't :-)

My daughter is one as well. She works in the church nursery, and they give the cryers to her. They all end up happy and stuck to her side like glue.
