Why all the Katherine hate???

I actually really liked this movie, one of my favourite chick-flicks to be honest.

Anyway I live in England and really don't understand why people hate her. She can act and I have seen her in greys anatomy not just in these chick-flicks. She is gorgeous and seems nice enough way way better than Aniston.
But so I understand did she actually do something wrong that I don't know of or do you just hate her for no apparent reason other than that you are jealous?

I LOVED this movie. And I LOVED Katherine and Josh together. I thought they were really cute.

And I loved Katherine in 27 dresses and The Ugly Truth, so I can't say I hate her. So you have my support :)

Yeah I loved her in those movies too! I don't get why everyone hates her I figured I was missing something.
Although I have to to say I kinda hate her a little because I am extremely jealous that she gets to act alongside and make-out with some really gorgeous men! I mean Josh is so god damn hot and Gerard! I am too jealous! Haha!

I find her movies kind of cute actually. And she has enough presence to carry a movie. I heard bad things about her though. She's apparently difficult to work with and publicly disses the people she works with. That's bad business!

It's because she dissed the movie, and movie makers that made her famous. She publicly bashed Knocked Up after it came out, which was her big break. She claimed that the movie and the characters were sexist, even though all her other roles have been pretty much the same.

Oh right I understand now, but really is that petty reason enough to hate her so much? I mean yeah it was a stupid thing to say, still knocked up was bad anyway! Plus if I'm correct in thinking she isn't the only one to do it, loads of actors do it. The only reason they take the job is because of money why? Because its a job like anything else.
Haha I find it pretty pathetic that everyone now dislikes her because of a few sarcastic comments. Hell if that is now an acceptable reason to hate stars, then I hate half of Hollywood!

I love her too :) Although I think Aniston is much higher up on the talented and 'niceness' scale.

I think she has acted like a 'brat' too many times. She sounds like she is very opinionated and isn't very open minded about other's ideas. Also one of the reasons she left Grey's Anatomy was supposed to be because she thought they weren't giving her good enough story lines. Plus she won an award for her acting in the show a few years ago but said she can't accept it due to her feeling the writers didn't give her award winning material to go with.

I like her acting and everything and my absolute number one favourite movie is Knocked Up but I can kind of see where people would think she is a huge pain.

But to also add, I don't care that she isn't doing a heap of different types of movies, I love the romcom movies she does.

There are actors I don't care for, but it is not because of jealousy or envy. Sometimes mannerisms or voices just kind of bug you. I personally don't "hate" her, nor am I jealous. I just get tired of her and think she is a little one-dimensional. But I could care less about her if the movie is entertaining overall.

she has a reputation for being bitchy and hard to work with. A diva attitude i guess. thats why i am not a big fan of hers. though i used to like her when i watched Greys anatomy

Her attitude towards the promotion of some of the work she's done.

Not that I actually hate her, myself - but that's why some people do.

Apparently she's quite difficult to work with, a bitch, and a diva. Now I know that's not much to go by, and sounds all like hearsay. But there's strong evidence of this. Costars have spoken out against her, her role in Greys' went completely down the hill. I don't like or watch the show, but I heard they gave her a brain-tumor and ruined her characters' life. She's getting some pretty crappy roles these days, a lot of them are low-budget straight-to-DVD films because no studios will hire her.

I love how people that don't know her personally somehow care that she's allegedly "hard to work with" or "bitchy," how exactly does that affect any of you? I love Katherine, I think her range may be somewhat limited in terms of character acting, but that's not a bad thing per se.She plays realistic roles generally and her performances, whether as Izzie Stevens or as any of the women in her rom coms are always awesome. Her acting is realistic, especially her delivery.

I loved the movie and I love watching it over and over. I thought the acting was great and loved the connection between the 2 of them.

The people who bash Heigl are the same type of people at parties who, upon realizing the type of person they are, you smile, get up off the couch and move to the farthest part of the apartment away from that person. Some people are boring and unhappy and luckily we don't have to be around them much. Heigl seems like a real sweetheart to me and she makes fun movies that we can relax, enjoy and have fun. :-)

we don't hate her, we hate the characters she plays... and sometimes an actor or actress does a role so well that people begin to think the person is that way in real life.

All the characters she play are annoying as hell.

She's also very normal in looks, which makes her very ugly in Hollywood standards. She was by far the ugliest woman Messer hooked up with in this movie, and she can't really act so...

Someone who has no talent nor looks and still "difficult to work with"? I see no reason to like her at all.

So I guess Hollywood standards are the plastic surgery train wrecks like, Heidi Montag, Lindsey Lohan, Nicole Kidman, Meg Ryan, etc etc and all those other sad little people?

You should have your head examined, as should everyone in Hollywood.
