The upcoming Speed Racer movie is not going to be as good as all the hype makes it appear to be, however this new television series looks as if will be just as good as the classic Speed Racer television series was and I'm looking forward to watch this show with my family.
I hope to that a LEGO Speed Racer video game will be created for the Nintendo Wii, DS, PC, Sony PS2, PS3, PSP and Xbox 360.
Just saw, I think its really good, definitively gonna keep watchin'.

its this is a straight knock off harry potter (they even had a bumbling strudent in , named harry just to poke fun)
it has dumbledore as spritle, harry as speed, hermoine as lucy, and even a ron with RED hair!!
its got a snape as the offensive teacher, and mcgonagal as the defensive teacher!

I like the cartoon and I like how the brothers are reacting to another one, BUT (yes there is a But in here) there is one thing that is driving me nuts why don't they come up with a new character like Racer X a new mysteirous character who is infact the son or daughter to Rex Racer aka Racer X. That means they are the cousin to the Racer brothers. And why don't they talk about who their mother is. I wonder if its Trixie, I have a funny feeling that Trixie is there mother.

Weight? The idea of a continuation of the story is a good one, but the execution is terrible. This virtual track makes no sense. If they are on the track, and the virtual track is activated, they should still be on the track, just seeing different things. Why do they disappear? Makes no sense. Why would they disappear when engaging vitual reality? That's not a virtual track, it's a completely different dimension. The virtual track is a good idea, but the cars should still be travelling around the real track.
And ehat is with this new Speed's hair? Terrible look for a lead character. A robotic monkey? I understand that the show is geared toward kids, but does that mean it has to be absurd?
Perhaps I’m taking things too seriously, but am I the only one who thinks it’s %^!#@ up that (original) Speed Racer raised one of his kids and put the other one in a orphanage for... no reason at all. That just seems like a stupid plot device to me. I know the show is for kids so they probably won’t dwell on it but still…pretty lazy on the writers’ part.
But that’s just me.
Dude, I was totally thinking the same thing! What the hell was going through old Speed's head? What happened to those family values we saw back in the 60's?

They better give an adaquate reason for Speed's abandonment, or I'm gonna be uber pissed!
I hope they cover that part too at the end, Speed needs to ask his dad why he droped him off and not him and X or why didn't he keep him? But the show is pretty good. I am enjoying it. Speeds my favorite character, followed by Conar, than maybe a tie between Lucey and X. Zile is also cool for a villain, I hope it gets a 2 season. Any one know if it will?

ya the season finale is coming on nicktoons network. my fave character is either conor or speed and zile is a pretty cool villain most of the time i think the villain needs 2 butt out and leave ppl alone but zile isnt totally annoying. the one character i dont like is analeise. i kinda h8 her cuz she thinks shes so awesome when she really isnt. and it is totally *beep* up that Speed racer SR raised one of his kids and just dumped one at an orphanage. i mean honestly wat were the writers thinking. other than that the series is pretty cool
