In the human male that is the removal of the foreskin. I consider that, too, to be utterly barbaric. But at least they are left with the rest of their genitalia intact.

This is EXcision where the clitoris and the labia minorae are SLICED AWAY. It's a wonder enough was left for her to urinate and menstruate through.

God made the human body. He did not tell anyone to mutilate it for any reason. That crap comes from cultures/"religions".

Well female genital mutilation certainly did not come from the Islamic religon; nowhere in the Holy Koran is this written, and it is only in very specific parts of the World where this takes place. It is a barbaric act, committed by barbaric (completely uncivilised/uneducated) people.

Female "castration" is surely practiced only by 'extremists.' Extremists are not typical, and they should not be used as examples of any religon. Or should we just assume that typical Christians are planning to bomb government buildings and kill thousands of people...because Timothy McVeigh was Christian? Again, this practice of female castration is written nowhere in the Koran, and is practiced nowhere in civilized cultures. It is a barbaric practice, performed by uneducated people who's religious beliefs have been seriously corrupted.

Indeed! And they all live in Africa and the Middle East, and are all Muslims!

Christians do it too. I don't think we should be blaming religious extremists on an Internet message board, in any case. We should all donate and try to educate others about this barbaric act. I hadn't even really considered it until I was watching an old Nip/Tuck rerun in which a patient had undergone FGM. Blaming extremists does nothing to help these poor girls.
