Per the audio commentary, the wall of numbers the "yellow submarine" flies by in the first minute of the movie has some meaning. It was even suggested that Goggling would provide an answer. I've tried parts of the sequence in left-to-right order and even flight order (right to left) without success.
My hunch was it's part of pi but that hasn't played out. Does anybody here know the answer?

Well... sort of. Please understand that there are several lines of numbers -- each line is many digits in length -- and we do not see the beginning or end of any one line. Here's most of just one line:
However, like I wrote earlier, the numbers may be in reverse order because the ship flies past them from right to left. Think of pavement markings where "AHEAD ZONE SCHOOL" reads as "SCHOOL ZONE AHEAD" when driving by. In that case the number becomes:
Well, I'm no expert, but the only thing that stood out was the string of 9's which I think could have signicance? Perhaps it is a program code lanuage of some sort? In which case the 9's could represent a terminate command? There is also favortism of some digits, which could also point to a program lanuage.
Maybe someone with some programming knowledge might make sense of it?
if its the 9's then i think it wll have significance in the next movie, matt greoning said that the number 9 men who are often seen in the background on the first 2 seasons will come out in the last film with significance
so i hope this helps a bit, theres a bit about him on wikipedia but i dont have a link right now
