One of the best of FRIGHTFEST2008

I can't be hundred percent sure about the acting since I don't know the language but it seemed perfectly OK to me, watching it with eng subtitles at this years FRIGHTFEST.

And somebody comments here that it doesn't have the feel of 1974.. ok again I can't be sure. If that's correct that's a big bummer.

But other than that I think the film was excellent. It handled itself very well. The feeling of being hunted was there, as well as the cat and mouse game. There were no logical mistakes what so ever. Sound was great (except at some points the sound of the knife was a bit overdone - a slightest flaw) And also, the film succeded in making me hate the boyfriend of the main girl. I loved the injury and death scenes. Hmm what else... The shot of the forest was great as to sink in the desparation feeling.

I thought it was a solid solid film and I spoke highly of it when i was writing a review about FF2008. I don't understand what's the fuss about people giving terrible comments here...

Well said. Agree with all you have said. Like yourself i seen 'Rovdyr' at Frightfest and thoroughly enjoyed it. I personally think it was up in the top three films in the F.F lineup.

I'm actually looking to buy it on dvd at the moment. The director mentioned that it has been released in Norway so i hope to track it down somewhere.

Like yourself i don't understand why so many people are hating this flm, but we're all entitled to our opinions.

The Dug

Hairstyles, cars, clothes and gas station. What more do you need to get the feel of the seventies. The forest looked the same anyway.

I think many movies of this genre suffers from the 30 minutes of "get to know the people" before the movie really kicks off. In this one I was amazed how fast the thrills started and lasted throughout the entire film with no confusing dialogs and explanations. This alone defends the lenght of the film and it's ending.

As a big fan of slasher movies this film actually scored pretty high for me.
The right amount of gore and goodlooking girls. And how many slasher movies are there without sex scenes?

Looking forward for more from these guys.

Good Lord...FRIGHTFEST 2008 must've REALLY sucked donkey balls if this was one of the highlights of the

festival. Shiny, happy, tender donkey balls. Points for the physical and mental abuse towards dumb girlies.

3/10.
