How did it end? *Spoiler*

Did the girl survive or did the lady kill her? She try to open the door I think then the car was moving, but she was trapped. But I dont understand why she not just kill the driver, cus she was sitting behind her. I think she got killed, but they never showed it. I really hated that blond. Worst actor ever and her character was the stupiest girl I ever seen. :)

Remember back in the diner, where they first had the altercation with the locals? If you can recall, remember the "survivor" not wanting to eat the meat? She mentions something along the lines of "I can't bear the thoughts of the poor animal that got killed". I believe that was the first clue.

My take on it is that all of the locals were in on it or at least had some idea of what was going on in the woods. I think the diner was serving all the previous human prey. When the survivor gets into the vehicle with the lady from the diner, she notices something is not right. Gut feeling perhaps? She attempts to open the door and realizes she cannot open it because it is jammed. She feels defeat, smiles and completely lets go. The smile she makes is definitely not one of joy, it's that smile people make when something goes completely wrong.

With that said, maybe I over analyzed it and the lady had nothing to do with it but by what I noticed, Im more inclined with the first theory. Im not sure if the "odd" mood of the ending was intentional by the director or not, but in the beginning notice his black humor spilling onto the screen. When we are introduced to the kids in the van, notice the charm they have hanging off their rear view mirror, a BULLSEYE! They literally had a bullseye on them. Targets indeed.... This film wasn't original nor was it intended to be. I liked it for what it is, a typical generic slasher/survival horror flick. Definitely a solid effort. My rating 6/10

"I can't bear the thoughts of the poor animal that got killed"

I have many vegetarian friends who have said the same thing from time to time. So I'm not sure we are to make much of her comment, other than that she was vegetarian (hence why the guy who ordered the food was sorry, and said he forgot about her dietary requirements). But who knows.

If you remember back to the first time she entered the hunters camp and you got a good look at it, they zoomed in 4 uncleaned plates, and it looked as if 4 people had recently had a meal together. There were only 3 hunters. I kinda got the feeling that maybe that was their mother or something. The girl said something along the lines of "they killed all my friends and then i killed them", and the second she said "and then i killed them" the womans face went all psycho and *beep* so something was definitely up.

That's the impression I got anyways.

Thats where the movie becomes great, the ending was really amazing because when she sat in the car, we thought a typical horror ending was coming when the woman would shoot her or take her to a place and we will see the blonde being murdered, now all things point that the old lady was related to killers, but not showing it opens up the ending much more, making it optimistic or pessimistic according to the viewer, superb..

Why so Serious ?

I think the face the lady made at the end when the girl told her she killed everyone speaks for itself. She was definitely in on it.

Don't know if you guys missed this detail, but the womna in the car at the end is the sam woman working at the diner. And in the way she shuts up the guy who wants to fight in the beginning you get another clue that it might be the mother...

She just took on and successfully managed to kill the others.

So I like her chances against the lady in the front seat.

Actually her smiling in the end, I took it as meaning hell I guess I gotta kill this one too. Not necessarily meaning she had given up. She'll prob kill the old woman too.
