The success of this is all dependent on Jonas not checking Louise's well being. If he had, the gig was up straight away, seeing she was just pretending for goodness sake.

Believe me when I say from personal experience, corpses look a lot different from live people. Of course he doesn't check, just sticks his head in the door and then starts getting rid of incriminating evidence on the basis of a quick look with no checking of vital signs. Just rather weird IMO.🐭

I believe that he was going to check the body but the cleaner interrupted trying to come in to the room. But I agree that this was very poorly written, the chance of finding out that it is a hoax was very high.
