Good movie

It's far from perfect but I liked it. The scenes in space were great, really exciting stuff and the visuals were great. It is a bit slow but that didn't really bother me, it gets going in certain scenes and there were some really tense moments. Only thing I disliked was the ending, it was anticlimatic. Worth a watch imo 6,5/10

Slow was the only thing going for it. Slow allows the story to evolve without it being thrust down our throats like most of the crash/bang ADHD crap these days.

I liked it. I wasnt too sure about after reading the bad revieuws but it was a good one.

Just saw it I prob give it a 5/10 its a bit like gravity to.

Except Gravity was a an actual space story, this was a kind of psychological drama pointlessly set in space.

Yes, the ending was bad. Bad enough for this reviewer to call the whole movie bad, since at the heart of it, it really had nothing to do with space. The space/science fiction genre was not the point. But you are right, it is not a bad watch, but it is also not a particularly good one. I don't see any profit in recommending it to someone, though I do think women would like it better than men. Gonna go look that up on IMDB ....

Oh well, guess I was wrong there, in almost all the categories males give the film a slightly higher rating ... not by much.

I have to say I did not like the space scenes. I thought it was ridiculous the way they were tethered so poorly to the space station ... that simply would never happen. Also, when the women was hit by the "micrometeoroid" which would be the correct term for a meteor outside the Earth's atmosphere. I don't have any actual data on what would happen to the human body under such circumstances, but the Google says the average velocity of micrometeoroids relative to a spacecraft in orbit is 10 kilometers per second (22,500 mph). They are so small they can re-enter the Earth's atmosphere without burning out, meaning they do not interact much with their environment. I think it would just go right though someone without doing much harm ... but that is just a guess. In any case I thought it was wrong of them to speculate and make that part of the story. Just more movie misinformation.

During the pandemic, staying home ... I'd say it passes as pandemic fare ... something to watch for the heck of it, but not exactly good or anything one will get anything out of.
