english accent

I was quite impressed with the English accent in the early scene on the park bench which was not bad at all. Eat your heart out Dick Van Dyke.

I do think though that the constant referral about Mr Jack not being really English may have been a scripted get around because it lapsed at times. A manufactured running joke as it were. Perhaps there was no available recognizable Englishman to actually play the part and that is so strange as the USA movie industry seems to always find one when they want a villain for their heroes to eventually destroy. They even find them to play villains from other nations.

I did not view this for the so called bearded character who I do remember from the hangover and is of no great importance to me. Adam Sandler, Jack Black, and all of those people can have funny moments in the many movies they make but none seem capable of always being funny so blaming the cover picture for drawing people in is a little lame. I do not know for sure what was on the back of the cover but I am sure it would have given a clue as to the tale to be told.

These tales are of course told from the after viewpoint. Dead men tell no tales but in movie land of course they do. Sorting out what is behind the story then becomes a problem.

There also seems to be some sort of demeaning attitude towards the director because of some low life past.

This might be of some interest as it was mentioned a few times in passing in the dialogue.

I recently watched the whole of the series First wave. Sixty-six epsiodes. Just to get it out my system having missed all those years ago. During the last series a new actress was introduced. It may be advisable to look up the blah balh on the series. I was a little taken by this 30 ish lady and thought she looked very good at times. I even thought in a few epsiodes how did you get overlooked for the part of LAURA CROFT.
Well Siree Bob that was no lady. That was Traci Lords. This might require looking up as well.

I enjoyed the movie but as PETER GRIFFEN (family guy) stated tell the French that long scenes of a Frenchman smoking a cigarette is not a film. This feeling must apply to a great many of the users here.
