One of the most frightening movies I have ever...heard?

I like Amy Smart, and she sounded like she was working awfully hard in the Seventh Moon, but I was very disappointed when during the last half or so of the movie I couldn't see her anymore. Or very little of anything else.

Where did she - and everyone else - go? I can appreciate the notion that sometimes what we don't see can be scarier than what we do see, but the darkness in Seventh Moon mixed with sounds of struggling only became more and more frustrating. I can only imagine so much for so long.

The introduction was marvelous (and quite colorful and bright) but suddenly the viewing audience is plunged into a mix of indecipherable images, emotional confusion, and a plethora of grunts and shrieks, moans and groans.

Frantically manipulating the Brightness, Contrast, Color and Hue buttons on my monitor just to see anything clearly was futile.

I would recommend Seventh Moon to anyone that wouldn't want to watch it, since it's worth giving it a listen for the scary Halloween noises - and listening to Ms. Smart giving this movie her best efforts.

I agree I just started to try and watch it but WTF is up with the camera. Ok now I'll forgive the shaky camera vibe I get the whole realism angle. But I agree with the OP this was all over the place and way to dark . The movie is almost just a jumble of darkly shot images and noise.

Shame as I was looking forward to this one. Dammit.

I just just kept thinking: I can't see anything!!

It reminded me of The Descent, but without the tension, the character development, and with shaky camera and ultra-close-ups all over the place.

Even if you hate Uwe Boll, give Postal a try, be offended or entertained.

I was just flipping through the channels and found this on Showtime, kinda late in the movie. I thought "Hey, is that Amy Smart? I can't tell. I can't tell much of anything. It sounds like they're struggling? What the hell is this dark shaky cam crap??"
