Did anyone else notice this?

At about 53 minutes in when Max and the ghost children defeated the bully, Max thanked the children, and the girl let out a very guttural "you're welcome". This kind of absurd sound manipulation is something I'd expect to see in a weirdo tv show like Tim and Eric. Needless to say, I was in hysterics. I hope it's not a glitch on my dvd and everyone else heard it.
