Isn't this kind of scary for Disney Channel?

I was watching it with my little brother, who's 4, and half way through the movie we wouldn't let him watch it. Seriously, that villain guy was FREAKY looking, and there was some part where someone's head is not on their body. Considering all the little kids who watch Disney, I thought it was too scary to show. And all those freaky guys dressed like monks behind that wall-thing. Ugh, Disney Channel has gone downhill.
Did anyone else think it was way too scary for most of Disney's audience ages?

Well... First off, it was a movie based off of a R. L. Stine series and his books have freaky/scary moments...
Second, anything past 1 o'clock p.m is meant more for 8 years and up...
Third, yeah, a guy's head came off! But that was actually funny, plus, there was no gore to it and he was alread a ghost! So, unless your little brother is likely to copy it, you really need to lighten up.

Disney Channel did not make this movie. Maybe they aired it before but that doesn't mean they made it. It was made by Universal. They probably just aired it cause it had a lot of Disney people in it.

I watched it, and I couldn't believe they actually showed it so late at night. And it wasn't very funny either.

I LUV THAT MOVIE and a bunch of other old disney movies that are never on anymore but seriosuly that imaginary friend guy from dont look under the bed was really creepy i mean to this day when i do watch it i still dont like the parts that have him in it but its still a really good movie

Ugh I wish I could see it again! The OP is right, Disney HAS gone downhill.... but only because THIS movie was stupid and show are most of the shows like Jonas, Suite Life, the replacements and the fact that they took off good stuff like Rave, Lizzie McGuire and Don't Look Under the Bed!

People like you disgust me. Children know what will frighten them. Parents don't give enough credit. Do you forget what it was like being a kid? Never watched DISNEY'S Hocus Pocus or Watcher in the woods or Something Wicked this way comes? Now THAT was freaky.

Lighten up. It's Halloween. Children don't always want to watch cuddly bunnies.
