This movie is a SATIRE...

I can't get over how offended some people are by this movie.

i thought the homages to Heathers, Mommie Dearest, Showgirls, Romy & Michelle & the rest were hilarious.

& i usually hate Perez Hilton but i enjoyed him here.

i wonder if straight guys get pissed off over movies like Beerfest & Porky's?
doubtful. & how many potentially homophobic people are gonna end up watching this movie anyway? not many i'm sure.
you just have to take these things with a grain of salt.

my only complaint was the lack of Muffler.
she was my fav character from the 1st film.

I agree with you! This wasn't all that bad. In fact, I laughed out loud more during this one than the first. The parodies were hillarious!!!!!!! I, too, would have prefered to see more of Muffler. She was my favorite character, as well.

Some people may have been generally offended by the content, but I think most people who disliked the movie did so simply because it was poorly written, acted (to be fair, it's hard to act when the script sucks), directed, and filmed.

The first movie in the series (Not Another Gay Movie) was fairly funny. Yes, it was corny in parts, but overall it was a fairly entertaining spoof of teen sex comedies. It was a gay American Pie.

Unfortunately, this sequel was just drivel. It had an interesting set up and it even raised one or two "serious" issues, but then it went absolutely nowhere. There were a couple of laughs, but most of the jokes fell dead. Also, Perez Hilton was just annoying. There was no point for him to be in the film, and it was irritating that they kept creating unnecessary scenes for him to just walk out and do poor reenactments of scenes from famous (and far better) films.

The lead actors seemed as if they were capable of acting, but unfortunately they had so little to work with that they pretty much gave up. A few of the scenes with the two couples showed a hint of human emotion (and I would have rather watched a movie about the two couples), but most of the rest of the film was just trite, boring, derivative, and devoid of anything or anyone which would make the audience care about what happened. Even RuPaul who normally looks pretty glamorous looked tired and bored. She barely even bothered to get made-up--it was like she knew the film wasn't even worth the effort.

One of my friends even had a fairly large role in the movie (playing one of the Jaspers), and even still, I couldn't make myself like the film.

Porky's is high art when compared with this unfunny mess. I have watched a lot of bad cinema, including the entire Troma catalogue, but had to turn this off 20 minutes in after the anti-semitic scene with the "Jewish" old ladies. Nasty, crude and not funny.
