Am I the only one who liked this movie??

Yeah so it was horribly campy and cheesy to the extreme, but that's what made this movie so much fun. My boyfriend usually hates these movies but when he saw the Whatever Happened to Baby Jane sequence in the drive-in, he was cracking up. I guess it's just a matter of not taking this movie seriously at all. I loved Andy int his movie but I think NIco really stole the show here. He's completely over the top and flamboyent (usually qualities that annoy me) but he does it with conviction, ease, and heart. Can someone explain to me some of the references where Nico gets these old school dramatic faces like when Andy's getting *beep* in the jacuzzi or when they put crabs in the jasper's speedos...

Lol I loved the face Nico pulled before and after he got the Jasper's back with the crabs. No idea what it was referring to though <_<

The whole movie is a farce- not as good as the first one but no sequels ever are. I would rate it as OK- not good enough to purchase and watch multiple times like the original - but OK to watch once for a few chuckles-

I think Another Gay Sequel is pretty funny. I actually like it better than the first one just because Another Gay Movie has way too many "gross out" scenes for me. Especially, the belgian chocolate bit. That was too much for me, personally. This one was more my speed. And I ADORE the scenes between Jake Mosser and Euriamis Losada, Andy and Luis. I love watching them. They're so adorable together I can't stand it. Their scenes would have made a great movie on their own.

reply

You thought the first one was too gross out? Yeah I thought it gross but not as much as this one. I would never watch this movie again because it was too gross for me, not mention not as funny.

reply

Yes! That scene was so hilarious...there were a lot of parts in the movie that definitely went above and beyond the usual jokes that are found in these kinds of movies.

Honestly, I thought it was very funny...some people are commenting on how shallow the characters and story were, or how exploitative and stereotypical they come across. These people should realize that it was all obviously meant as satire, and not a serious depiction of what these kids go through.

Spring break people...lighten up.

If you want fantastically sexual bizarre dreams watch this movie over and over again before you sleep IT WILL GIVE YOU FUNKY DREAMS!!!! TALKING REALLY FUNKY DREAMS!!!! not sure if you really want that

the faces Nico was pulling, i think it's in reference to the film 'Mommie Dearest'. It made me laugh! Along with the showgirls pool scene

i am the son and the heir

I really liked it. I think that production values seemed higher, and I love Jake Mosser (is this and L&O:SVU really his only two acting credits, I swear I've seen him in something else). I don't think that Nico's character was written as well this time as he was before (or at least not as evenly well). The references to the Brady Bunch in Hawaii, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, Where the Boys Are are hill-laar-ious! I'm not exactly sure where the facial twitch thing comes from though. It's kind of a movie cliche for someone about to snap, I guess.

I loved this movie too - but then I am a BIG fan of early John Water's movies.

I really liked this as a movie standing apart from the first Another Gay Movie. The entire feel was different. But hilarious all the same.

Gooood NICO stole the entire show. I lmao during the whole intense stare and then subtle eye-twitch. That's comedy man. 4 serious.
Not to mention the dancing and prancing singing about golden showers.

The little dance he did in movie 1 (where he's 'seducing' the bear, that one beats everything )

Oh and Im a girl.

When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story.

Just finished watching this and thought I'd sign the thread, I really enjoyed it. The zombie bit was a bit twisted for my taste but it's refreshing how naturally this film deals with gay sex, I mean showing full frontals and showing them all going at it, gave it a really natural feel that I appreciate (coulda done without the prosthetics though :p)

It helped that so many guys were hot as hell xD

Nico stood out in the first movie for me but after this one I'm definitely looking out for him in future, I hope he sings and dances more in future movies, I love his voice. I don't usually go for such campy flamboyant guys but he somehow carries it off without being annoying and just being cute. I must say I fancy the arse off the man :p

Kung fu movies are like porn. There's 1 on 1, then 2 on 1, then a group scene...
