Jennifer Morrison does not play Princess Diana.

Morrison plays a character named Rachel, an American journalist who investigates the death of Princess Diana.

Princess Diana probably will be shown in news clips. Since the movie takes place post-mortem, an actress may not even be needed to portray her.

Oh thank goodness! When I saw the cast list I spent about 5 minutes yelling what?!?!!? at the screen lol!

Glad to hear it . It would have been like a Brit playing President Kennedy. Mind you what with Renee Whatsherface playing Bridget Jones and then Beatrix Potter I wouldn't put anything past casting directors.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ummm...Landix, they are actors and actresses! people who pretend to be people they are not. Sometimes they play characters from different times, and different countries. Thats what they do! THEY PRETEND!

Anthony Hopkins is a good actor...Jennifer Morrison doesn't have the range to play a British woman or Princess Diana or do pretty much anything but whine and roll her eyes at Hugh Laurie.

Not bad enough to fail to convince many American friends of mine most of whom were convinced I was kidding them that he was British, until I sent them some DVDs of Jeeves and Wooster...
