Holy shit this is garbage.

This movie is really fucking garbage I can't believe how bad it is. I was going to tune out after the paint scene. And then I was going to tune out after the knife scene in the restaurant. But I forced myself to keep watching. I finally gave up at the hour and a half mark, I just couldn't take it anymore. There's way way way way way way way way too many unrealistic aspects of this movie to mention. The two biggest ones for me are how paint doesn't seem to stick to the man even though you see the paint when she pours it on him. And he could walk through spilled paint without leaving footprints. Sure Jan. And then we have the throat cutting knife scene in the restaurant. How exactly did he get the knife into her hand?? The one thing that would have been coming out of my mouth over and over again is check the cameras check the cameras check the cameras check the cameras. But nope, not here. Of course not. 92% percent on Rotten Tomatoes???? This movie is proof positive that reviews from professional reviewers are fucking bullshit and obviously must be paid for. Oh I'm so disgusted I don't even want to talk about it anymore.

You didnt watch the movie till the very end did you?
His brother was helping him the whole time and had a suit of his own.
They were invisible together in many scenes, that was the twist. Especially in knife scene at the restaurant. One who sliced her sister's neck and the other who put the knife in her hand.

That means this much as far as anything I've stated 👌👌👌👌 zero. It didn't matter if 10 people were helping him. It was extremely ridiculous and fake looking.

Critics were tripping over themselves to praise this film due to it's underlying thematics of the evils of Men, the horrors faced by Women in trying to escape a controlling and possessive ex.

The lasting damage done due to a previous relationship, struggling to move on after being controlled. The feeling of being watched and at constant threat from Men, even when they're not there. They lap stuff like this up. It's why critics are often completely useless.

They took the original Invisible Man, a mad scientist, and reconstructed him into a generic asshole with a hi-tech suit. I prefer the original, he was a potion downing lunatic. A camp delight.

And Hollow Man was damn good too.

Hollow Man was far better!

What is really interesting is that it's men writing these things.

This was the last movie I got to see at the theater before COVID-19 shut things down. The script is terrible.

I was just dumbfounded more and more with each passing scene. I literally kept going back and googling the name of the movie to see the ratings on it and I was like is this seriously the same movie that I'm trying to watch right now?! It wasn't even just kind of crappy to me. It was horrible.

I wasn't that mad about any of the particulars, I just found it kinda boring - too boring to continue. But that's how I feel about most horror movies these days, they're either too boring or too brutal in terms of gore. So definitely don't understand the praise on popular movie review sites.
