worst movie I've seen in a long time!!!!

This movie really fails on itself by trying the documentary approach on a completely fake story. There is not a milligram of beliveability in this crap. Small crew of brits without plan or money going from liverpool to maradonas house in Argentina as a pilgrimage. Great idea for a dokudrama! BUT, then logical breaches start stacking up. I mean just trying to pull off that journey put you trough a great ordeal, but no, these guys encounter none of any issues a travelling group normally would. There are no logistically problems or scenes or stress, they meet nobody on the way, they dont get drunk, dont score weed, no visa problems, no transport delays, crossing heaps of borders no problem. I mean I've traveled some and I know brits do cus I've met a lot of them out there, and it it impossible to go mostly by land without plan or travel experience AND NOT have any problems with logistics or anything. just cruise trough a continent casually holding a football in your hand. none of them even looses their ball ever, or punctures it. STILL, with a cameracrew at their heels who they talk to all the time. This cameracrew actually multiplies when the group split up, and then multiplies again when they are in three groups in three different countries!!!???? This movie is almost two hours of crying and whining about how great Maradona is, no travel drama. If this was a real journey they would have their hands so full of logistics, they would have no time just sitting aroud whining. The biggest drama in the group is when they have to split up in LA cus there seems to be only one airplane in a very long time to go from LA to Rio de janeiro. HELLO! LA to Rio in this millenium!!! Its not even going to Argentina. Then some of the suddenly meet up in argentina, no reuniting scene, or stress of finding eachother, hey buenos aires is only one of the biggest cities in the world. still no one has picked up a phone or checked email yet...... As a feature film this would be bad, but by making it a reality drama in documentary style it really goes beyond bad, it is.... I have no words really for how *beep* this is. In the end I did not care if they met maradona or not. Then they top it off with the guys stuck in LA watching their friends having the maradona encounter on argentine broadcasting In LAX airport on a small monitor just before boarding their flight back to UK. What are the odds?? COME ON!!!! Just a small coincidence that the airport tv was dialed on a argentinian tv channel just as they walked by and watched tv for the first time in the movie. Hey if they had money to fly LA to UK at this point, why not buenos aires instead since this maradona thing was such a huge deal.....

Sorry folks thats how it is, the emperor i naked and i'm not afraid to say that I see him that way.....

im sorry but this is the biggest wanker review ive ever read on imdb! (and thats saying something). you are so clueless it has literally made your opinion void im afraid. sure lets add in every thing they do like checking their email. wow what a great documentary that would be. also i have travelled extensively and logistical problems have never been the biggest part of a trip.

I know he is going over the top but to be fair... The movie does seem quite fixed - Probs because it would of been boring if it wasnt! Im sure the majority was real but they looked like they got a lot of help with food / places to stay to me...

PS. How did they get home?! lol

You know little about documentaries, it would seem.
