Who hates the Scouser?(spoilers)

Typical scouser,Only after he had a wad of cash in his hand did he want to split from the others.No talk of him going alone when he wasnt pulling his weight and getting a fifth of the pot.
When he got the cash he was still in a team but wanted to keep the $250 or however much it was plus take a third of the pot.
I was really hoping he would miss out on the meet as he deserved NOTHING!!
They went out as a team and he stabbed them in the back.
Felt sorry for the lad who gave up his place so his friend could go.A true friend,
If it was the scouser he would probably have sold his place...
Cmon,anyone else think the scouser was a real knob?
I suppose the law of averages says that 1 in 5 will stiff you.

Not really, I actually found his quite charming and sweet. Sometime you can achieve more on your own than as a team, and he proved this, by making more money than the others. This decision to go alone must've been quite hard, but I'm happy he trusted his own instincts and left them to achieve his goal.

I`m sorry people,
but in reality he never wanted to go it alone until the moment he had a wad and was`nt willing to share it like all the others.
I just think he was selfish.
I began liking all the characters, and then when one stabs the others in their backs and still wants a third,i hated him.
You get to know who your friends are at times like this.

Ok not because he was a scouser but because he was low,and he sh** on his mates.
Realistically he owed them all loads of money from earlier on in the film when he was not pulling his weight.But this conveniently slipped his mind.And off he went with the money.

they were all 20somethings with no skills in life (apart from drug dealing and being the achtypical 'brits abroad')other than juggling a football.

The urchin from Liverpool clearly has no real value of 'friendship' despite being breaved of 2 'mates' who tragically died ("coz life isn't fair").

Goodness only knows how flabbergasted the people of the USA,Brazil and Argentina ,must think about how utterly devoid of social tact and verbal communication that goes beyond grunting these boys have..

but they got to go on an all expenses bender to latin america kindly paid for by Nike.

Let me take a wild guess here, youre another one of those sad twisted people who are jealous of others success due to their own lack of self worth, probably an only child, bullied at school, still a virgin and so so angry at the world. Ill bet you still blame your parents for the fact youre not successful and havent achieved anything. All of which would go some way to explaining your psychotic vitriolic attacks on a group of underprivileged kids, whose only crime against you was having the balls that you lack to try and do something amazing. You write as if you know them, let me assure you, you know nothing about what some of these kids have gone through in their lives, the fact that some of them are still alive is in itself a testament to their strength. Truth is Im not trying to convince you to change your opinion about them, think what you want, Im sure that being convinced that others only succeed when handed it to them on a plate is the only way you are able to get through the night. But let me give you this 100% guarantee, they slept rough, not in hotels, ate only what people were kind enough to share with them and didnt have any part of their journey paid for by Nike. Believe it, dont believe it, either way all five of them are better people than you. Dont let the feelings of inadequacy keep you awake tonight.

staged,staged,staged,staged. morons with the social skills and conflict resolution abilites of an amoeba drunk on stella atrois simply don't *make it* in life.

and as for chasing dreams...do you REALLY think the drug dealer could care less about meeting maradona?

i know you think they " just did it", but it really dosn't take an engineering degree or advanced powers of deduction to work out that these social reprobates lack the intellectual capacities to fend for themselves in a foreign country.

The 'drug dealer' is called Sami and is not defined by his past actions and therefore shouldn't be labelled by them. His desire to meet Maradona is not about wanting to meet some ex-footballer, it's about wanting to achieve something in his life, to prove to himself that he has some worth. If we're going to discuss this please try not to over-simplify everything, it makes you unworthy of continued conversation.

As I said previously, its fine if you don't believe they really did it, you need to believe whatever keeps you sane and clearly the idea that 'social reprobates' and 'morons' could achieve anything is a problem to you. Especially given your own lack of achievements.

By the way Sami and the other 'morons' asked me to point out the following errors in your last message;

dipakers did you actually watch the film??
you do realise that they only had enough money in the first part of the journey for two tickets............
its very easy to understand, they used all their money to buy 2 tickets......
this means ur argument about the 'scouser' hoarding money is complete bollocks
secondly while the other two were tring to find ways of dressing up the 'scouser' went out on his own and earned himself a ton of money

They way I see it is that the whole idea of what they were gonna' do was try to get to Argentina to meet Maradona. Their main source of income to do this? Busking with their football skills.
I think Mikey got a little pissed off when Danny and Jeremy decided they'd rather dress up as fairy tale characters than do it the way they set out to do it.
So while they go waste a day way talking to a couple of weirdos, he goes out alone performing and makes himself $250.
They meet each other at the end of the day, with them two having nothing to show for their stupid idea, while he's got 250.
Tbh if I was him, I wouldn't of shared it either, especially with that *beep* Danny.

Danny and Jeremy seemed like they couldn't be arsed. The scouser made the right decision, he met Maradona, the other 2 lads didn't.
