They are reanimating human flesh to raise money to play Basketball?

We need to start paying to see more of our movies with good script ideas so we can shy away from these type low brow films getting green lights.

Somehow I get a feeling that this is a sort of a "nu" blaxploitation film. Also note the (first time) director's alias, "Blaxwell Smart".

they dont reanimate him to play basketball, it's just after he is reanimated he ends up playing basketball.
