Well, it was shot all digitally and thrown into after-effects which is annoying, but what's an aspiring film maker to do?

The story wasn't THAT bad, though heroin played a large part in the plot and totally annoyed me the entire time. I'm a William Burroughs fan, so I'm critical of characters with habits.

I've hung around kids most of my life that make their own movies. It's tough. These guys obviously had more budget than we ever did, but they didn't do so bad. I applaud the effort. Some people are gonna say this is the worst thing they've ever seen because it didn't have more than a few thousand dollars behind it, but those people can screw off. They haven't sat around watching friends' movies like I have. They can't appreciate the effort it takes.

Kudos to the cinematographer and the editor. The two leads weren't that bad at acting. Granted, they shot digitally, so they had a billion takes to work with, but still.

Honestly, with money put behind it I could see this story making money for Hollywood. I'd still be annoyed by it, but I ABSOLUTELY HATE most movie plots, so when I say I'm annoyed it's not so bad.

So, if you're expecting to see a big production I give this movie 2-out-of-10 stars. If you're going to take it for what it is, a REAL indie film, I'd give it 7-out-of-10. Maybe even 8. I liked the camera work.

I'm curious to find out their budget. And I'm also curious to find out what kind of camera they used. XL? GL? Sony equivalent?
